Khafji is medium size town in the border with Kuwait. It has 90000 inhabitants. In collaboration with VADO consultant we are doing an urban design proposal for this costal site. The goal is to create an attractive retail entertainment destination to act as the living space for the residents and attract most of the visitors crossing the border. From our city observation we noticed the city is isolated from the water ,therefore our concept was to link the city with the water by creating a Marina to be the focal point of the project. The project has 3 main magnets shopping mall, culture center & the marina.
